Drains may crack and joints open up resulting from ground movement, water infiltration, root ingress or vehicular traffic. We can offer our CCTV Camera Survey which would give you a detailed picture of work needed to be undertaken.
Water ingress through displaced and open joints can be very damaging to a drainage system and cause complete failure of the drain by washing away the supporting soil surrounding the drain. Left to continue the drain will ultimately collapse leaving no alternative but to excavate.
By sealing the area of water ingress either using localised patch liners or chemical grouting we prevent any further loss of support and reduce the risk of future failure. Patch liners can also be used to repair holes in pipes and small cracks.
Structural Repairs
- Cost effective repair with minimum disruption
- Resilient to ground movement
- Reduces the friction factor and increases potential flow rates
- Forms a barrier to water ingress and root penetration
